Who we help in Netherlands

We help business owners prepare applications and connect with independent lenders that lend across borders, with expert advice to improve your chances of approval.

All financing is arranged in USD.

Importers and exporters

Rotterdam and Schiphol make the Netherlands a hub where goods are often bought in USD and resold in euros.

Technology startups

Companies in Amsterdam and Eindhoven that sell internationally and invoice in dollars.

Horticulture and agri-food

Greenhouse growers and food processors that export across Europe and beyond.

Dutch BVs and sole traders

Limited companies (BV) and eenmanszaak owners with a registered KvK number.

Registration and documents

Lenders typically ask for:

  • Chamber of Commerce (KvK) extract for the business
  • Ultimate beneficial owner (UBO) register details
  • Latest annual accounts or management accounts
  • VAT (BTW) number with recent returns, and ID for directors

Borrowing in USD

Your revenue is probably in euros while the loan is in dollars. The euro floats against the dollar, so a falling euro raises the cost of repayment in euro terms. The exposure is smaller if you also buy in USD. Read our multi-currency guide before choosing the amount.

Typical uses

Trade and logistics

Pay suppliers in USD ahead of customer payments with working capital loans.

Greenhouse and processing equipment

Automation and climate systems are typical equipment financing cases.

Scaling a tech business

Hiring and market entry may suit a small business loan.

An illustration

A Rotterdam importer buys machine parts from Asian suppliers in USD and sells to Dutch customers in euros. It needs USD 150,000 over three months to cover a large order. Because its costs are already in dollars, the exposure is limited. Lenders review its KvK extract, annual accounts and bank statements.

For illustration only. This is not an offer, rate or quote.

Local points to know

Dutch companies must register with the KvK and file annual accounts, and lenders rely on those records. EU and Dutch rules on lending apply to the lender. We do not give legal or tax advice.
